Brief Introduction: Professor Bankova has been exploring the chemical properties of propolis for over 30 years contributing to over 200 papers, she has an h-index of over 60. She received the Elsevier Award for excellence in global research, in research topics in which Bulgaria has a significant and growing global impact for her studies on propolis, in 2018.
Research Interests: devoted to the bee product propolis (bee glue): its chemistry, plant origin, biological activity, health-promoting potential, analysis, standardization.

Brief Introduction: She has made major contributions to the field of Nutritional Neurobiology and Glycobiology, and thus has emerged as an internationally recognized leader on the nutritional significance of human milk sialylglycoconjugates and brain cognitive development, has an H-index of over 20.
Research Interests: key area of molecular biochemistry & molecular biology with an emphasis on nutritional Glycobiology/Sialobiology and brain function, particular interests of neurodevelopment, cognitive function, eye and vision function, gut-brain axis for brain cognitive function using piglet as an animal model.

Her h index is 46 (Web of Science) and 51 (SCOPUS) with over 9000 citations.
